'If We're Going To Heal, Let It Be Gloroius' Touring Exhibition 2017 - 2018. An exhibition exploring socio-political issues, feminism and self love from the perspective of black women artists, living in Britain in 2017.
The ‘Links Arts Opportunities Programme ' aims to provide an opportunity for emerging artist of African Caribbean descent to exhibit their work alongside that of more established artists in a public forum, thus creating a platform for those who lack the opportunity, knowledge or confidence to give their work exposure. Additionally in facilitating events such as this exhibition, it is intended to introduce a wider community to art from an African Caribbean perspective.
Part of one of the biggest South Asian festivals in East London showcasing fusion art, traditional and modern.

At he heart of our exhibition is the subject of values and the influences that impact upon them. Our history, matriarchal family structures, familial language and external forces such as mass media imagery all contribute to define and shape us. Ultimately, they are some of the factors that govern our conduct and self-perception.
